REIKI

Reiki is an energetic technique for stress reduction and relaxation that originated in Japan. The words Rei and Ki can be translated to “Universal Life Energy” or “Spiritually Guided Life Energy.”  Most energy practices (acupuncture, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, Healing Touch, etc.) recognize that when energy flows freely in the body there is more balance, vitality, and wellness; when energy is blocked or sluggish it can result in dis-ease and disharmony. Some of the reported benefits of Reiki include: decreased stress and anxiety, increased energy, improved sleep, decreased pain, less fatigue, and improved sense of wellbeing. Reiki is a whole person healing approach with benefits for body, mind, and spirit. Reiki is performed fully clothed using light or no touch based on client preferences.  Reiki is available at the beautiful Country Wellness Center in North Stonington, CT.

Stress & Resilience Tools

Chronic, unrelenting stress can be a major root cause of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health challenges and dis-ease.  You can learn positive new coping techniques and relaxation strategies that will help you to break the cycle of chronic stress, increase your resilience, and live a more balanced, vibrant, healthy life.   Stress Management strategies and tools are  customized to your unique preferences and can be effective for a wide variety of symptoms including sleep difficulties, anxiety, muscle tension,  headaches, pain, and more.  

The Elimination Food Plan Coaching Experiential 
Explore the relationship between the food you eat, stress,  and how you feel physically, mentally, and emotionally.  You may be very surprised at what you learn! You will receive:

  • One 60 minute and two 30 minute info and coaching sessions, resources, and goal setting to implement the plan your way.
  • Access to a comprehensive Guide, Food Lists, Meal Planning tools, Recipes, Shopping Lists, and self-assessment tools to make your own choices and increase your awareness about how certain foods impact you.
  • Regular check-ins by e-mail
  • This program lasts about 5 weeks.

Depending on the service, telephone, video chat, and/or face-to-face sessions are available.  Phone and video chat options are ideal for those who are busy and on the go; no worries about weather, parking, or extra travel time.   In-person meetings are held in the Southeastern CT area.
